In the production process of the chicken industry, it will inevitably lead to broken eggs, such as: the eggshell is too thin to break the egg, the imbalance of calcium and phosphorus in the feed causes the egg to break, the hardware construction of the chicken farm is unreasonable, causing broken eggs, and the personnel problem causes the broken egg. The chickens are unhealthy and cause broken eggs. The temperature and humidity cause broken eggs, and the group of people is broken and the eggs are broken.
Once the egg is broken, the value of his commodity will be reduced. The normal egg breaking rate in production is generally between 2% and 5%. The increase in egg breaking rate will directly affect the production efficiency of the laying hen, so how can we reduce the egg breaking rate? What? Let’s take a look at the following.
1. Improve feed quality
Everyone knows that the eggshell is a kind of calcification, so once the calcium deficiency of the laying hen affects the quality of the eggshell and causes the egg breaking rate to increase, the calcium deficiency in the chicken is mainly due to the calcium and phosphorus content in the feed and between them. The ratio, as well as the absorption rate of calcium and phosphorus, the vitamin D deficiency in the feed will also affect the chicken’s absorption rate of calcium, and any one of them will increase the egg breaking rate.
If the lack of manganese in the feed will reduce the hardness of the egg, thereby increasing the egg breaking rate. Excessive levels of fluoride and magnesium in the feed can make the eggshell of the egg brittle and increase the egg breaking rate. Therefore, the content and proportion of nutrients in the feed should be appropriate, and harmful elements should not exceed the standard.
2. Hardware installation should be reasonable
During the chicken raising process, we saw a lot of eggs broken into the corridor, not because of the problem of cage production, but because of the installation problem of the poultry farming cages. It may be that the slope is too large or the gap between the two cages is too large. Falling outside the cage caused breakage.
The correct slope of the bottom of the cage is 8-9 degrees, which can prevent the eggs from rolling down to the corridor and causing the broken and preventing the eggs from colliding with each other and causing the broken. The two cages can be tied with the wire to prevent the cage from being misplaced during use, causing the gap between the two cages to be too large, resulting in broken eggs. When choosing a chicken coop, we should choose a better quality level to prevent deformation during use and increase the egg breaking rate.
