Everyone who raises chickens knows that temperature is the first factor in the survival rate of brooding. Broilers in broiler farming cages are ventilated through side windows and longitudinal fans to adjust the temperature.
The ventilation of the chicken house has three purposes:
1. Ventilation in time
2. Input fresh air (oxygen),
3. Adjust the temperature in the house.
The temperature control in the chicken house using broiler cages is divided into two stages:
1. The temperature control in the chicken house during the brooding period
Broilers in poultry farm cages are brooded at high temperatures, and the temperature during the brooding period is 33°C, and then 0.5°C is reduced every week. Because chicks themselves have a low ability to regulate body temperature within 7 days of age, the temperature in the brooding house should be kept constant within 7 days of age. Breeders should always check the temperature in the chicken house to avoid fluctuating high and low temperatures, which may reduce the resistance of the chicks.
The installation of thermostats in standardized caged broiler houses can effectively solve this contradiction. The ventilation and air exchange in the house can be achieved by controlling the opening and closing of the fan. During the brooding period, the fan is set, the opening temperature is set to 35°C, and the closing temperature is 33°C, that is, the fan automatically turns on when the temperature in the chicken house is higher than 35°C, and automatically turns off when the temperature in the chicken house is lower than 33°C.
2. The temperature control in the chicken house during the growing period
The broiler growing period means from the 7th day of age to the slaughter, and from the brooding period, the temperature is kept at about 26 ℃ from the 21st day of age to the slaughter.
Set a temperature difference of one degree between the opening and closing of the fan, that is, the opening temperature of the fan is 27℃, and the closing temperature is 26℃
Through the opening and closing of the fan in the chicken house, the ventilation rate in the chicken house is controlled, so that there is sufficient oxygen in the chicken house without peculiar smell.
