Control the ambient temperature in the chicken house
Longitudinal ventilation and water curtain cooling. Installing fans and water curtains in a closed chicken house can reduce the temperature of the chicken house by about 10°C. A slight cool breeze can be felt anywhere in the chicken coop. This is conducive to the increase in chicken feed intake.
Spray to cool down. A high-pressure low-fog spray system is used in the house, spraying from the top of the chicken breeding equipment to the space. After spraying, pay attention to strengthen ventilation and reduce the humidity in the house to facilitate the evaporation and heat dissipation of the chicken.
Reduce the stocking density. When the temperature in the chicken battery cages are too high, you can also reduce the chicken’s own heat production by appropriately reducing the stocking density through the chicken breeding equipment. Reduce the effects of heat stress. It is advisable to raise 10-12 broilers per square meter in summer.
Automated chicken raising equipment can not only cool the chickens and reduce their illnesses, but also increase feed intake. The feed intake of chickens decreases with the increase of environmental temperature. When the temperature outside the chicken breeding equipment is 29.5-38℃, every time the temperature rises by 1℃, the chicken’s food intake will drop by 1.5%. Therefore, it is easy to reduce chicken feed intake by 10-15% during the hot season. Around noon in summer, the temperature is high and the chickens refuse to eat. Therefore, when the temperature of the chicken raising equipment is low, the frequency of feeding can be increased to increase the feed intake.
