Under the same feeding and management conditions, hens with good genetic performance can use calcium better than genetics, which makes the eggshell thicker. Generally, brown shell eggs have higher eggshell strength than white shell eggs. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of the eggshell, we must pay attention to the choice of chicken varieties.

Fourth, feed nutrition. This is what we usually pay attention to, which is the so-called acquired compensation. At present, all kinds of laying hens have a standard feeding system, so we need to produce full-price compound feed according to the feed formula. When making the feed, first pay attention to the calcium content in the egg production, and choose some calcium sources with good solubility such as limestone, but pay attention to the content of magnesium and fluorine in the test. Secondly, the content of available phosphorus in the feed should be ensured, and the appropriate ratio of calcium to phosphorus should be mastered.
