Spring is the best time to raise chickens. With the rapid development of poultry breeding industry, poultry farming equipment has gradually become more and more automated, saving a lot of power for farmers. But in spring breeding poultry, we still have to pay attention to the following points:
Keep warm and defend cold
1. Control the temperature. The optimum temperature for laying hens is 16~21°C, and the optimum temperature for laying hens is 16~23°C. When the temperature is lower than 13°C, the egg production will decrease significantly. Therefore, the feeding management of laying hens in late winter and early spring should be mainly based on cold protection and warmth. The main measures for cold protection and warming are as follows: First, close the doors and windows of the chicken house with insulation materials, or add cotton curtains on the outside of the doors and windows; The density of the chicken house is raised, and the body temperature is used to improve the house temperature; the third is to set up heating equipment in the house; the fourth is to raise the chicken to thick dry material, hay, timely remove the manure, and change the dip pad. While controlling the temperature, it is also necessary to solve the contradiction between ventilation and heat preservation. Ventilation should be ventilated at a high temperature at noon to maintain the freshness of the air inside the house.
2. Moisture-proof and dehumidification. Under normal circumstances, the relative humidity in the house should be kept at 60%~70%. The humidity will increase the conditions for the proliferation of bacteria and parasites. At the same time, it will increase the heat dissipation, which is not good for the insulation of the house. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to keeping the chicken. The house is clean and dry. The manure of the caged chicken house should be removed frequently, and the faucet in the house should be tightly closed to prevent the body from getting wet and to increase the body heat. Pingyang chicken should keep the litter dry, and never let the chickens lie on the moist bedding, so as not to increase the body heat and reduce the egg production. When disinfecting, the lime can be used to spread the ground for disinfection, and it can also absorb moisture and reduce the humidity of the house.
Light supplement
Illumination is one of the important factors affecting the performance of laying hens. The decrease of light will reduce the amount of related hormone secretion in the anterior pituitary of chickens, which will lead to a decrease in egg production rate. Laying hens require 15 to 16 hours of light per day. In the spring when the light is not enough or the fog is dark in the house, it is necessary to turn on the lights to supplement the light. Manual replenishment of light should pay attention to the following aspects: supplemental illumination should be uniform, to ensure 16 hours of light; light intensity should be moderate, light intensity should be 10 lux during laying period; when supplementing light, power supply should be stable, so as not to cause production Egg reduction, moulting and other phenomena; artificially supplement the lighting, must be on time to switch lights, can not be early or late or intermittent; to properly adjust the light, each time you turn the lights on, you must gradually dark to bright From light to dark, give the chickens an adaptation process to prevent stress.
