How to reduce the cost of laying hen breeding through scientific methods

1. Reduce feed waste
The structure of the trough should be reasonable, and the upper edge of the trough should be edged and made into a concave shape. Try to use chicken raising equipment for feeding to avoid feed spilling.

2. When using the feed trough, you should adjust the height in time with the growth of the chicken, so that the trough is always 2~3cm higher than the back of the chicken. 3. It is to feed less frequently, not overfill at a time. According to the test, when the feed is added to two-thirds of the trough, the feed waste can reach 10%; when the feed is added to one-half, the feed wastes 4%; when the feed is added to one third, the feed wastes 2%. Therefore, the amount of feed should not exceed one third of the feeding trough.

3. Pay attention to disease prevention
It is necessary to strengthen the management of breeding, improve the disease resistance of chickens, and reduce the cost of medical treatment. Do a good job in cleaning up the environment and chicken battery cage equipment to create a comfortable growth environment for chickens to ensure stable and high yield.

4. Reasonable temperature control of the chicken house
The most suitable house temperature for chicken laying is 12~20℃. If the house temperature is lower than 7℃ in winter, every 95 chickens need to eat 1.4 kg more feed per day, and the egg production rate will be reduced. The summer weather is very hot, the chickens eat less feed, but the egg production rate is also reduced. Therefore, adjusting the temperature in the chicken house is also very important for reducing feed consumption.

5 keep the feed
Improper storage of feed can easily cause mold. Buying or manufacturing too many feeds at one time and leaving them for a long time will result in reduced nutritional value, which is also a great waste. In addition, we must avoid rats and birds from entering the chicken coop to steal feed.
