When the ambient temperature is high (above 30°C), the embryos have begun to develop during the storage of the breeding eggs, but the longer the condition is, the more unfavorable the hatching.
First, although it has begun to develop, the temperature has not reached the appropriate incubation temperature, and it is difficult for the embryo to develop normally at this time.
Secondly, there is a high chance that the embryo will adhere to the eggshell without turning the egg.
Therefore, the shorter the storage time, the better. Incubation under high ambient temperature conditions, over-temperature is common, so you can cool the eggs when necessary. Generally, the machine is shut down for 2-3 hours every day, and the egg cart is removed from the incubator for ventilation and cooling of the eggs. The downtime can be increased or decreased according to the ambient temperature.
When the ambient temperature is low (below 10°C), heat preservation is the first need, and the speed of placing and laying eggs should be accelerated as much as possible to reduce temperature loss. At the same time, the time from starting the machine to reaching the normal incubation temperature, and the time to return to the normal incubation temperature after the eggs are placed on the tray are much longer than in the high ambient temperature. In order to compensate for the accumulated incubation temperature lost during these periods, a method of increasing the total incubation hours can be used.
The specific method is to observe and understand the time from power-on to the set temperature within a certain environmental temperature range, and the time to return to normal temperature after placing the plate and egg-sharing.
Refer to these to determine the number of hours to increase incubation. The increased hours should be less than the sum of the above three times, because most of the time during these three times will not be lower than the incubation critical temperature.
The above are some points that need to be paid attention to when using poultry farming equipment.
